Matic now avoids unnecessary “escape” maneuvers when cleaning under toekicks. Instead, it uses improved tracking to smoothly guide itself out, resulting in steadier, more reliable edge cleaning.

More Reliable Docking

Matic now recovers from docking-related hiccups more gracefully. Temporary lift or tilt detections while docked are automatically cleared, and we’ve reduced unnecessary error messages; resulting in a smoother, more reliable return-to-dock experience.

Smarter Behavior in Tight Spaces

Matic now makes fewer repeated attempts to squeeze through tight spaces it can’t reliably navigate. This reduces getting stuck and improves overall cleaning efficiency.

Simpler Mapping Setup

If you delete your current primary map, the app now immediately shows Start Mapping instead of quietly switching you to another mission. This makes it clearer what’s going on and makes it easier to set up a new main map.

Refined how Matic responds to side brush jams. Instead of triggering critical errors, Matic now continuously detects and handles these events in the background, minimizing interruptions and reducing cleaning time.

Pet Waste Map Refresh

Pet waste markers are now automatically cleared from the map after each session, ensuring a clean, updated map for future detection.

More Frequent Floor Save Points

Floor map edits are now saved more frequently, preventing progress loss and keeping map data more consistent across sessions.

Added new internal tools to better understand Matic’s behavior in tight or complex environments, enabling faster improvements to navigation and obstacle handling.
