Matic now recognizes larger inaccessible spaces more quickly and moves on without repeated attempts, resulting in smoother navigation and faster cleaning.
Nested areas can now be merged into a single room. If your map splits a room into sections (e.g., “Living Room 1” and “Living Room 2”), you can now merge them into one clean, unified area.
Matic now identifies shallow toekicks instead of treating them as edges. This prevents unnecessary movements and improves cleaning consistency along cabinets.
We have reduced cases where Matic mislabels hidden areas behind furniture, helping produce clearer, more reliable maps.
Matic now handles steep angles near walls more intelligently. When it gets very close and nearly perpendicular to a wall, it can now make the small corrective moves needed to pull away cleanly—reducing cases where it could get briefly stuck during edge cleaning.
We removed unused system components, reducing the update package to 25% of its original size, making updates significantly faster and smoother.
Matic now tracks tight or blocked spots across all cleaning passes within an area. If a space can’t be entered, Matic avoids repeatedly trying, reducing wasted time and improving overall cleaning flow.
