MaticRelease notes

Stable 102

Unified Toekick Logic

Uses a single robot model for both triggering and ending toekick extraction, reducing stalls from redundant checks.

Shutdown Stability Fix

Improved handling of racing shutdowns with smarter vision pipeline timeouts and duplicate shutdown checks.

Flap Error Clarification

Improved error messages for mopping-related flap issues so users can identify and resolve problems—like bag tab misalignment or duct clogs—more easily.

Stable 101

Improved Dock Detection Reliability

Resolved an issue where the robot occasionally failed to locate the dock, ensuring more consistent and reliable returns to the charging station.

Enhanced Docking Over Wires

Updated docking logic to improve performance when approaching the dock over household wires or cables, reducing interruptions during the return-to-dock process.

Stable 100

Easter Egg Hunt Support

The robot now adds a dynamic number of Easter eggs to each mission once per day, bringing playful discovery to your daily clean.

Improved Area Orientation

After splitting or merging areas, Matic now reestimates orientation to ensure interior cleaning corridors align more accurately, resulting in smarter coverage.

Stable 99

Toekick Support Enabled

The robot now detects and cleans along toekicks — low spaces under cabinets or furniture — for better edge coverage throughout the home.

Single Pass Mopping

Optimized mopping routine to use a single pass - the robot now will select only the perpendicular corridors that help fill actual coverage gaps — eliminating unnecessary passes — optimizing performance and water usage.

Memory Optimization

Freed up ~100MB of memory, giving the robot more room to handle larger maps and run more smoothly.

Session Summary Fix

Addressed an issue where certain rooms were incorrectly marked as completed in the session summary.
