Trick or Treat

Through November 1, say "Hey Matic, trick or treat" or "Hey Matic, happy Halloween," and Matic answers with a Halloween trick or treat.

Refill Guide at the Sink

When you open the lid to refill the water tank, Matic now plays a short video on its screen showing how much cleaner to add: only 1/2 cap (5 mL).

Clearer Wet Bag Alerts

When Matic pauses mopping because of water in the bag, it now tells you whether the bag reached its water capacity, so you can swap in a new one, or whether to check the bag and rinse the tank.

Brush Roll Check for Sweeper Jams

When you fix a sweeper jam in the app, Matic now checks that the brush roll is fully removed before testing the sweeper.

Camera Recovery

If Matic's cameras don't start, it now restarts itself once to recover.

Wi-Fi Reconnection

Fixed an issue where Matic could stay disconnected from Wi-Fi until it was restarted.

Follow-Up Voice Commands

When you send Matic to a room with a voice command, for example, "Hey Matic, go to the kitchen," it now waits there for up to a minute for your next one. If you don't give one, Matic resumes what it was doing or returns to the dock.

Pirouette

Ask Matic to spin, for example, "Hey Matic, do a spin," or give it a sincere compliment, and it now does a pirouette.

Faster Hard Floor Cleaning

Matic now turns more quickly at the end of each lane while vacuuming, spending less time slowing down in corners. Standard cleans on hard floors can now finish up to 3% faster.

Sharper Pet Waste Detection

Matic's pet waste detection model has been retrained again and now spots about a third more pet waste than the previous release, so fewer messes go unnoticed.

Microphone Alerts

If Matic's microphone stops working, it now lets you know on its screen and in the app, so you can reach out to support when "Hey Matic" stops responding.

Smarter Pet Waste Detection

Matic now detects about a third more pet waste with fewer false alarms, so it avoids real messes more reliably without skipping harmless spots.

Clearer Wet Bag Alerts

Matic now tells you specifically when the wet bag is full, instead of grouping it with low-airflow bag alerts. If only the wet bag is full, Matic can keep vacuuming.

Brush Roll Alerts Stay Put

Fixed an issue where pressing the button cleared the "brush roll missing" warning while the brush roll was still out. The warning now stays until Matic detects the brush roll.

Matic Asks You to Repeat

If Matic doesn't catch a voice command the first time, it now asks you to say it again instead of giving up.
